Ex-Boyfriend Love Poems

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Ex boyfriend love poems like the ones below can be very difficult to write because of the painful memories they bring. After all, to write a good ex-boyfriend love poem, you will have to be in tune with your feelings and a break up certainly won’t be a happy ocassion to dwell over.

A Love In My Heart

It’s not easy to find a guy
With whom you can have a great start
It’s even harder to say goodbye
When it’s time to part
For the love refuses to die
As it still resides deep in my heart.

If you want to write a few ex-boyfriend love poems, you can also try to recall meaningful moments with him and put them down onto paper. It can provide the inspiration or at least, some ideas of where to start. Not that I’m that good at writing poems, but it is a means to put memories into words for me.

Memories Of You

Once you looked into my eye
And said how beautiful I’m to you
I even knew how to cry
As you made me feel so special too
In my life you are the only guy
Whom I love so very true
Though you have said goodbye
The memories will always stay in view.

I guess when you are still thinking of writing ex-boyfriend love poems, it must really be hurtful and you probably want him back badly. But cheer up and think happy thoughts instead!

Sorry Love Poems

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

Below are the sorry love poems that I have written after the break up. It just got me thinking about all the things that I have done wrong and could have made a difference if I knew how to say sorry then. It might be too late for me but if you still have a chance and you know that you have done something wrong, why not come up with some sorry love poems to show your sincerity?

Sorry I Didn’t Say

The days are grey
The nights are lonely all the way
In my bed I lay
Can’t help but to let my mind wonder away
To you memories stray
Sad thoughts coupled with the gay
To the point of dismay
When you said let’s call it a day
Maybe sorry I didn’t say
When that one word could have allowed me to stay
Sorry I now express if I may
Though I know your heart won’t sway.

I hope these sorry love poems can give you some ideas to write one of your own. After all, everyone’s situation is different and what you have done wrong may be unique to your circumstances alone.

The Only One

I’m sorry for all the things I have done
If only things didn’t turn out as such
Maybe I might have hurt you a ton
But it doesn’t mean I don’t care much
In my heart you’ll always be the only one
The only one I love and long to touch.

Of course, if you are going to say I’m sorry, don’t forget to get a gift to go along with your apology as well. It will make you seem more sincere, especially if you know what to buy. Whether it is a box of chocolates, a bunch of flowers, a figurine or other romantic gifts, just make sure it will melt his or her heart somewhat so that your partner will be more receptive to listen to what you have to say!

Love Poems To Get Your Ex Back

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

I believe love poems to get your ex back should be written in a way that truly expresses your emotions and depth of your feelings to be really effective. You have to tell your ex how you feel and what you want so that it leaves no ambiguity as to your intention. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be love poems to get your ex back at all if he cannot figure out what is on your mind, right?

There Is Only You

You have bid me adieu
But I can still see happiness in view
‘Coz once passion used to brew
Hugs and kisses are what we knew
We once even said our love was true
That in this world there’ll always be us two
Things changed, I know that too
But are we really through
If, in my heart, there is only you?

These two love poems to get your ex back are simple ones that I have written while waiting for a flight. I was early and took advantage of the time to scribble something rather than sitting and staring at people passing by. I hope you will like them and provide an inspiration to you to come up with a poem of your own.

A Love Worth Keeping

Can we not say goodbye
When our passion can still be deep
Can we give it another try
When a happy future we can still reap
Can we just not let our love die
When there is still a love worth to keep?

Naturally, love poems to get your ex back will merely be a sincere but a shot in the dark type of effort to try to patch up your relationship. If you want to really work on getting your ex back, you might just have to resort to more concrete efforts and strategies that are proven to work rather than relying on a poem or two.

Poems Of Lost Love

Thursday, December 10th, 2009

Poems of lost love are usually deeply personal. Below are two lost love poems that I have written based on my own experience. If you have the same painful feeling that comes with a heartbreak, feel free to share them below.

Key To My Heart

Why don’t you stay with me
Why must you set me free
When my love you still can see
Is as deep as the deep blue sea
You know that’s how it’ll always be
For you hold the key
To my heart for all eternity.

The following is the second of the poems of lost love that I have found the time to pen. Usually, I write them when I can find the words for them and when strong emotions are present, it is normally not hard to come up with one, although I can’t say that I’m that good a poet. :)

Love Has Ended

Time can never mend
This broken heart of mine
For our love has come to an end
When I thought things were fine.

How can I be just a friend
When I still want our love to shine
All I have left are feelings that blend
All the pain and yearning combine.

I have found that the more I try to get over my ex, the harder it is to move on. Maybe the fact that I’m struggling too hard magnifies the pain when I should learn to let go. Writing poems of lost love help to put feelings on paper which to a certain extent is therapeutic.
